MIUI v6 Ported To Android One Devices (sprout)

XDA member teztaz--v3 has successfully ported MIUI v6 to Android One devices, code named sprout.

MIUI v6 is based on Android 4.4.4 Kitkat. Thus, this port is also based on Android 4.4.4.


SCREENSHOTS:

This Custom ROM is still in beta & consists of the following bugs:

-RIL (SIM Network/Data Cellular)

- Launcher icons border glitch

- Themes force close after installing apk

- Dialer and Contacts force close (due to RIL bug)

- Force close on changing wallpaper

- Some layout bugs,  example : volume ring slider

- MTP : cannot copy files, no space available

- Google play services sometime gives force close error

Those Android One users who want to try out a completely new user interface, can flash this ROM on their devices.

teztaz--v3 would be releasing patches to fix the above mentioned bugs. These can be dirty flashed over the ROM to fix the bugs, improve stability & performance.

Installation Procedure :

1. Remove your 2nd sim card, then go to philz recovery or LATEST (2.8.7.x) TWRP recovery.

2. Wipe data, cache, system (or just use the 'clean to install rom' function)

3. Flash the ROM.

4. Flash MIUI Gapps.

5. Flash the patches.

6. Reboot, wait till 6 mins, pull your phone battery, then goto recovery and wipe dalvik cache, then reboot (do it again until the progress bar bottom of the screen showing)

7. After booting and finishing the setup wizard, set selinux to permissive, set using kernel adiutor, enable apply on boot
