OnePlus Has Started Working On Nougat Based OxygenOS

OnePlus is "Already hard at work on the latest and greatest" Android Nougat which was released in August this year. OnePlus CEO & Founder Pete Lau took to Twitter to deliver the news for the same:

If you have been actively been reading reading our posts, then we have mentioned it multiple times that OnePlus has improved itself a lot in terms of updating it's existing smartphones with the latest of Android, both in terms of security and novelty, taking in user feedback at the same time with the help of community builds.

Thanks to the fact that OnePlus is on the look to improve itself, we can definitely make out that Nougat based OxygenOS would be out sooner as compared to Marshmallow based OxygenOS. The Chinese startup had not done well with handing out the taste of Marshmallow to it's users because Marshmallow based OxygenOS was only released in June this year, while Google had announced Marshmallow way back in October last year. But since OnePlus is improving, it seems that this mistake would definitely not be repeated.

OnePlus' CEO posted a video teasing that OnePlus is already working on Nougat update for it's flagship devices. Since Nougat is in the works, we do hope that community builds for the same are out in the months to follow, definitely before this year's end. Hope you are reading this OnePlus!
