LYF F8 with Android Marshmallow, VoLTE support launched

Reliance Retail's answer to Micromax's recently launched Canvas Express 4G is here. The company's sub-brand LYF has launched the  F8 smartphone in India rocking 4.5-inch display, Snapdragon 210 processor and 1GB RAM.

The LYF F8 is priced at Rs. 4,199 and will be available in Black and Blue colors from Reliance Digital stores and other stores across the country.

Running Android Marshmallow, the LYF F8 has 854 x 480px screen and 8GB internal storage, which can be further increased by inserting a microSD card. For photography, it includes 8MP rear camera with LED flash and 5MP front camera.

It supports 4G LTE, dual-SIMs and VoLTE and is powered by a 2000mAh battery which promises up to eight hours of talk time and 160 hours of standby time. USB OTG is also supported.

As mentioned earlier, the LYF F8 will compete with Micromax's Canvas Express 4G. For comparison, the latter comes with a bigger 5-inch display with Gorilla Glass protection and price tag of Rs. 4,999.
