HTC One M9 Is Now Getting The Nougat 7.0 Update

HTC had started rolling out the Nougat 7.0 update to it's last year flagship of HTC 10 a few weeks back. The Nougat love is now being extended to the HTC One M9 as well.

The update is currently available only for the unlocked variants of the HTC ONE M9. HTC has said that it will be rolling out the update to the carrier locked models by "early next year." 

Since the update is being rolled out in batches, it might take some time to reach your device. To check for the update manually, you can head over to Settings -> About Phone -> System Updates -> Check For Update.

HTC had also promised that the HTC One A9 will be getting the Nougat 7.0 update by the last quarter of this year. With 2016 about to draw to a close and 2017 looming around the horizon, we expect HTC to keep it's promise. HTC 10 had received the update on Thanksgiving, so maybe HTC has reserved a Christmas present for the One A9 users. However, only time will tell that!
