Nougat 7.0 Is Now Being Rolled Out To T-Mobile HTC 10 & LG G Pad X 8.0
T-Mobile users owning a HTC 10 or the LG G Pad X 8.0 can rejoice since the two devices are now being treated to Android's latest offering of Nougat.
While the unlocked variants of the HTC 10 in the United States had got the Nougat 7.0 update last month, HTC has lived up to it's promise of updating the carrier locked versions of the HTC 10 to Nougat too. The update weighs 1.22GB and has the build number 2.37.531.5. In case you haven't received the OTA update notification till now and are eager to try out the update, you can manually install the update on your device using the HTC Sync Manager. For detailed instructions on how to do the same, please refer to the support page of T-Mobile HTC 10.
T-Mobile owners of the LG G Pad X 8.0 can also try out the Nougat 7.0 on their devices. Interested users can avail the services of LG Bridge to install the update. LG Bridge is a desktop management tool using which one can update, backup and manage their LG device on a computer. If you intend to update your G Pad X 8.0 rightaway, you will have to download and install LG Bridge on your computer. However, if you are willing to wait a bit, then an OTA update rollout is definitely on the cards. Once an OTA rollout is underway, you will be receiving an OTA notification of the Nougat update on your tablet, by tapping on which your tablet will update itself to Nougat automatically.
