Play Store gets an interface update, new features added

The Android users from every part of the world rely only on one source to download all the latest stuff, games, books, apps etc from the internet and that is the Google Play Store. The Google Play Store is just like a supermarket where you can easily buy anything without having to worry about going here and there.

And just like that, we have seen some of the most significant updates to the Google Play Store with every upgrade to the Android versions our phones have been receiving. Right from Gingerbread to Nougat, the Play Store has changed every now and then with more features, improved interface, more settings and customisations.

You still may remember over your old Android phones when you used to download apps from Play Store and everything seemed dull but over the course of time, things started to feel much better for the Google Play Store.

And now this is happening again. The Google Play Store is developing new changes again which you can't really miss out. Primarily, the newest thing is the search suggestions which now come with the new 'Install' button and other necessary app related info that you need. The install button and other app related info are only shown for the top search results. Please take a look at the screenshots below to get an idea of the new interface.

You may remember that the Play Store earlier looked as follows:

Post the update, the Play Store looks as follows:

Another significant update is that the material design card layout has also been changed, which has lead to a more responsive interface which is easier to use and better to look at.

However, you should note that this is a server side update and even if you install the latest APK of the Play Store, you still won't get the features until the servers make it available in your country and Google rolls them over your device.

So better it may look and feel, let us still hope that we get to see more features regarding this update. Also, we don't suggest you to download the APK of the Play Store until Google officially declares them over your device.
