How Google Now Can Still Work Through The Bixby Button After Samsung Took Away The Ability

Bixby has been a really hot topic since the leaks of the Galaxy S8/S8+ and why not, it's Samsung's own AI that is working good. But since this has a separate button for itself, people truly wanted to work on it and try to remap it to any other app which supposedly reminds of the Google Now for the priority. And yes, the remap happened and the Bixby button was working for Google Now which Samsung couldn't digest and threw in an update which kills the ability to do so. But you know, developers are called developers for a reason and now even after the update, the Bixby button can still open Google Now, not like it used to but yes it does the job, Thanks to Dave Bennet who developed an app that opens Bixby when the button is pressed, bypasses it and opens Google Now on top of it which anyway works and there you have the remaping again in some sense.

The video above describes how the app works and Dave says it's not a perfect solution but yes he's thinking of developing it further and that seems good. The app needs the usage access and after that, start the service and the job is done. The app is now available on Google Play and reviews are coming in positive.
