Wileyfox Begins Rolling Out New Update For Swift Phones Based On Consumer Feedback

Wileyfox had started rolling out the Nougat 7.1.1 update for the Swift 2, 2 Plus and 2X a couple of weeks back. Although Swift users had appreciated Wileyfox's efforts of breaking free from Cyanogen's debacle, they had also raised complaints on the inclusion of Truecaller dialer and the ZEN launcher.

Paying heed to the valuable feedback of consumers, Wileyfox has announced a new update rollout which brings changes in line with the gained feedback. Informing it's users about the update, Wileyfox wrote:

We listened to your#feedback! New#SWIFT2update roll-out with WiFi/reboot and BT reconnection related issues FIXED, removable Google search bar and ZEN, new GMS package, very latest May security updates, and Google assist. Just wait for your notification and it's there. How bout them apples.

The Wileyfox Swift trio have become the first handsets to get the May security patch, well before Google's Pixel, Nexus and Android One devices. The new Google Mobile Services (GMS) package hints at the integration of the AOSP dialer, instead of Truecaller's dialer.
