Nougat 7.0 Is Being Rolled Out To T-Mobile Galaxy S6, S6 Edge and Tab S2

Keeping it's word, T-Mobile has started rolling out the Nougat update for the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge. The Android 7.0 update is also being rolled out for the Galaxy Tab S2. All the devices were launched in 2015 and were powered by Android Lollipop out of the box.

The changelog put out by T-Mobile simply states "Android N 7.0 Update." Although we can't gather much information about the miscellaneous features included in the update, Nougat 7.0 brings a lot of features to the table. You will be treated to a new user interface powered by TouchWiz, improved Doze mode for better battery life, split-screen mode for multitasking and a built-in data saver for restricting data used in the background.

The update weighs 1270MB for Galaxy S6, 1290MB for Galaxy S6 Edge and 1006.80MB for Galaxy Tab S2. Since all the updates weigh over one gigabyte, you should make sure that you are connected to a stable internet connection, preferably WiFi, while downloading the upgrade. T-Mobile also recommends you to ensure that your device is at least 50% charged before installing the update.
