OnePlus Withdraws OxygenOS 4.1.5 Update For 3/3T, 4.1.6 Rolling Out Instead


OnePlus started rolling out the incremental update of OxygenOS​ 4.1.5 a few days back and now the company has withdrawn the upgrade and is instead rolling out OxygenOS 4.1.6.

OOS 4.1.6 features the same changelog as 4.1.5. For the purpose of reiteration, the changelog is as follows:

New additions

• Added system push notifications for important information from OnePlus

Updates

• Updated network settings for select carriers

• Updated OnePlus Community app to v1.8

• Updated Android Security Patch level to 1st May 2017

• Modified WiFi no internet indication icon

Bug fixes:

• Fixed storage issue present on 3rd party file managers

 Fixed VoLTE issue on certain Jio SIM cards

• Fixed connection issue on Android Auto

Optimizations

• Battery

 WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS

• Proximity sensor

• Camera low light focus

• Expanded screenshot

Other changes

• Enhanced system stability




OnePlus hasn't stated any particular reason for withdrawing the update. If you have already updated your OnePlus 3/3T to OOS 4.1.5, your phone will still get the 4.1.6 update. The update is being rolled out via OTA. You can either wait for the OTA notification to show up or manually update your phone via ADB. The necessary links for the flashable ZIPs can be found below.
