Essential Camera App Updated With Support For 360-Degree Live Videos On YouTube & Facebook [APK Download]

Essential started rolling out the second Oreo based beta build to the PH-1 yesterday. Several users reported that the laser autofocus, which wasn't working in the first beta build, was functioing correctly for them in the second beta build. Essential has now landed another camera update for the PH-1.

The Andy Rubin owned firm is now rolling out an update to its camera application on the Play Store. This update introduces support for live streaming 360-degree videos on YouTube and Facebook. To record 360-degree videos, you will be needing the Essential 360 degree camera mod.

If you have a PH-1, you can check the Play Store for an update to the camera application. If you haven't gotten the update yet, you can manually update the camera application by installing its APK file from here.
