Lenovo A6000 to go on sale without registration from March 23 to 25 in India


Lenovo has announced that the 4G enabled A6000 smartphone will be available without registration in an open sale during Flipkart’s Big App Shopping Days from March 23 till March 25. There is no details on how many units will be available for sale.

The Lenovo A6000 is usually available via flash sale for which users need to register before purchasing it. It was initially launched in India back in January and went up for grabs via flash sale on flipkart at the end of Januray. Lenovo has reportedly so far sold 180,000 units of A6000 smartphone in India.

The main highlight of the Lenovo A6000 smartphone is its 64-bit quad-core processor, 4G support and Dolby Sound. The handset is popular among the consumers due to its attractive price tag of Rs. 6,999.

The Lenovo A6000 features a 5-inch HD IPS display, 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, 8-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front facing camera, Android 4.4 KitKat and 2300mAh battery. And no, it does not support USB OTG.
