Samsung billboard turns Moscow office building into a 262-feet tall Galaxy S7 edge

Samsung has created an advertisement for the Galaxy S7 edge that's very huge. On the side of an office building in Sokol, Moscow, Samsung has installed a huge billboard for the Galaxy S7 edge.

The mega-sized billboard stands at 80 meters high (262.7 feet) by 40 meters wide (131.23 feet), and can be spotted 2.2km (1.37 miles) away at Moscow's Gidroproekt building any part of the day, and is viewed by approximately 800,000 people per day. The sign is made up of LED panels and is placed at a location that connects downtown Moscow and Sheremetyevo International Airport.

Apart from size, the technical details are not known, however, the billboard has the design of Galaxy S7 edge smartphone and has the Samsung logo, front facing camera, earpiece and the home button.

Samsung with such marketing strategy is most likely looking forward to increase the sales of its new flagships in the region. The Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge are already selling well for Samsung, and according to reports the Galaxy S7 is expected to set a company record for most units sold during a new smartphone's first year.
