Apple iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus goes on sale in India

Apple's latest iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are now available for purchase in India starting at Rs. 60,000 and Rs. 72,000 respectively via offline retailers across the country as well as ecommerce websites such as Flipkart, Paytm, Amazon India Infibeam and Snapdeal.

To recap the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus retains the same design as its predecessors iPhone 6s/ 6s Plus, but has some changes made to the body. The new iPhones are water and dust resistant, ditches the 3.5mm audio jack in favor of Lightning Earpods and antenna lines are moved to the top and bottom edge, making them less visible. Spec-wise they come with A10 Fusion chipsets, a new Force Touch-sensitive Home button, iOS 10 4G VoLTE support and NFC. The iPhone 7 features 4.7-inch display, 2GB RAM, single 12MP rear camera and 1960mAh battery whereas the iPhone 7 Plus has a bigger 5.5-inch display, 3GB RAM, 2900mAh battery and is Apple's first phone to sport dual rear cameras (2 x 12MP units). The front facing camera is 7MP on both iPhones.

The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are available in silver, gold, rose gold and the new black (matte black and jet black) colors in 32GB, 128GB and 256GB storage models. The new glossy jet black color variant will only be available with 128GB and 256GB on-board storage. Here is the breakdown of the pricing.
