Reliance Jio offers new iPhone users additional 12 months of free service

Reliance Jio has announced partnership with Apple to offer new iPhone customers in India a year of complimentary Jio service worth Rs. 18,000. Those who buy the new iPhones or existing iPhone models like iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and iPhone SE from Reliance Digital store and Apple Authorised stores will be eligible for the offer.

The free Jio services are the same benefits as Jio's Rs 1,499 monthly plan – unlimited local, STD and national roaming voice calls, 20GB of 4G data, unlimited 4G data usage at night, 40GB of Wi-Fi data at Jio hotspots, unlimited SMS, and subscription to Jio's apps.

New iPhone users can avail this offer after their 'Jio Welcome Offer' expires on December 31 2016, which means the free Jio services will come in effect starting January 1 2017. Currently, the offer is limited to Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Bengaluru only. 

Apart from free Jio services, Reliance Retail will offer Reliance Retail coupons worth Rs. 15,000 and 10 percent off on Second Purchase with the purchase of iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus.

Enterprise customers will also be offered 25 percent discount upfront rather than implemented as cashback offer. They will also be eligible for a special tariff plans, but details are not yet known, but will be made available in a few days time on Jio's website.
