Gionee W2017 with QHD display, dual rear cameras, 7000mAh battery gets TENAA certification


A new Gionee smartphone has been spotted on China's TENAA and Geekbench, AnTuTu benchmarking website revealing details of the upcoming phone. Dubbed M2017, Gionee's latest offering will be a battery-centric phone packing a beefy 7000mAh battery with a mix of premium design and top-end and mid-range specs.

As seen in the photos posted on TENAA, the Gionee M2017 will have premium look with a leather back. Besides the beefy battery, another highlight of the phone will be its dual-rear cameras, making it Gionee's second smartphone after S9 to have this feature. The dual-rear camera setup will be a 12MP + 13MP unit.

As for the other specs, the Gionee M2017 will have 5.7-inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) AMOLED display, octa-core Snapdragon 653 processor (w/ Adreno 510 GPU), 6GB RAM, 128GB storage, 8MP front camera, dual-SIM slots, fingerprint scanner and 4G LTE. It will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow based Amigo OS 3.2.

As per the listing, the Gionee M2017 will arrive only in Black color. As always getting certified by TENAA means the release of the device is just around the corner.
