Here's How To Enable The Easter Egg In The Open Gapps Application

Easter eggs are not just limited to commemorating Easter anymore, they have been present for a while in Android as well. Talking about Android and the world of custom ROMs, Open Gapps is one of the many great projects synonymous with the word 'Android'.

Open Gapps had recently launched the first version of their official application.

Going back to easter eggs, Android Nougat had some hidden easter eggs as well. As it happens, Open Gapps developers hid one inside the app itself.

Even though I was not able to spot the easter egg in my first look of the app, our fellow team member and Android developer Harsh Shandilya was able to spot it.

To view the easter egg in Android, one needs to tap multiple times on the Android version located inside the About Phone menu. Talk about synonymity (or should I say similarity), one can unveil the hidden easter egg in the Open Gapps app by heading over to the 'About' menu and then long pressing on the Open Gapps logo.  This just sums up how Open Gapps is closely related and inspired by Android to it's very core.
