HTC outs Desire 650 in Taiwan


Besides 10 Evo, the international version of Bolt, HTC also announced a new Desire series smartphone dubbed Desire 650 in home country of Taiwan. It is an affordable smartphone and has an interesting engraved pattern on the back for better grip.

The HTC Desire 650 features 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) TFT LCD display and is powered by Qualcomm's quad-core Snapdragon processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage, which can be expanded via microSD card.

The camera departments includes 13MP rear camera with BSI sensor, f/2.2 aperture and LED flash, and 5MP front camera with BSI sensor. In terms of connectivity, there's support for 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4,1, NFC and GPS. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Sense 8 UI on top and is fueled by 2200mAh battery.

The HTC Desire 650 is priced at NT$ 5490 ($170 | Rs. 12,000) and will be available in Taiwan from first week of December.
