Entry-level vivo Y25 with 4.5-inch display, 4G LTE launches in Malaysia


Popular Chinese smartphone maker vivo has launched a new affordable entry-level 4G smartphone in Malaysia called vivo Y25. It runs the dated Android Lollipop based Funtouch OS 2.1 and offers low-end specs.

The vivo Y25 features features 4.5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) IPS display and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6580 processor. The phone comes with 1GB RAM, and 16GB storage, which can be expanded via microSD card.

For photography, there's 5MP rear camera with LED flash, and 2MP selfie camera boasting features like voice capture and palm capture to click selfies. Connectivity options include dual-SIM slots, 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and USB OTG. It is fueled by 1900mAh battery.

Priced at MYR 499 (Rs. 7,500), the vivo Y25 is now available for purchase in Malaysia in Grey and White hues.
