Moto X4 will (most likely) be unveiled on September 2


The Moto X4 has finally got a possible unveiling date. After several rumors, now it appears that Motorola will unveil the Moto X4 on September 2.

While the company has not confirmed the Moto X4 launch directly, Motorola's Philippines Facebook arm has posted an event invite and it specifically mentions Hellomoto X, strongly suggesting that it is the Moto X4. The event will be hosted by two popular Filipino actors Nadin Lustre and James Reid, who are together known as Jadine. It will be live-streamed at 6pm Philippines time (3:30pm IST).

The Moto X4 will be aimed at upper mid-range market. It has been regularly headlining the rumor mill for several months now and was recently spotted at FCC, indicating an imminent launch.



According to reports the Moto X4 will feature all-metal body with 3D glass and boast IP68 water and dust resistance. The specs include 5.2-inch display, Snapdragon 630/669 chipset, option of 3GB RAM/32GB storage or 4GB RAM/64GB storage, 3000mAh battery and USB Type-C port. It will have dual-cameras sporting a pair of 12MP sensor, while the selfie shooter is a 16MP sensor.

The 3GB RAM/32GB storage model is rumored to priced at $349.99, while the 4GB RAM/64GB storage at $399.99 in the U.S.
