Infocus M2 4G with Snapdragon 400 SoC launched for Rs. 5,499


Infocus launched the selfie-centric M2 smartphone with only 3G support in India back in March. Today Infocus has launched the 4G variant of the M2. It is powered by Snapdragon 400 processor instead of MediaTek MT6582 in the 3G variant. Rest of the specs are same.

The Infocus M2 smartphone features a 4.2-inch WXGA (768x1280 pixels) LTPS TFT LCD display. The 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor is further aided by Adreno 305 GPU and 1GB RAM. On-board storage is 8GB, further expandable via microSD card up to 64 GB. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat with InLife UI on top. Camera department is handled by 8-megapixel camera at its  rear and front camera with LED flash. The rear camera features a backside-illuminated (BSI) sensor and also includes options such as exposure compensation, continuous shots, scene setting, white balance, face recognition, beauty shot and photo enhancer. The 4G-enabled dual-SIM M2 supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, GPRS/ EDGE, and 3G. It is backed by 2010mAh non-removable battery and comes in Black or White color options.

The Infocus M2 4G is priced at 5,499, Rs. 500 higher than the 3G variant, and will go on sale exclusively via Amazon India through flash sale from July 24. Registrations for the sale are now open.
