Karbonn Aura with 5-inch display launched for Rs. 4,990

Karbonn has launched a new entry-level handset in India dubbed Auro. It is a budget-friendly handset and is available to buy from leading retail stores for Rs. 4,990.

The Karbonn Aura features 5-inch IPS LCD display and is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core processor paired with 512MB RAM. On-board storage is 8GB, further expandable via microSD card up to 32GB. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat and has dual-SIM slots. Camerawise it sports 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 2-megapixel front shooter. Connectivity options include 3G, GPS, WiFi, Micro-USB and Bluetooth 4.0. It is fueled by 2000mAh battery.

The Karbonn Aura will be competing against the likes of Huawei Honr Bee, Micromax Canvas Spark and Samsung Z1 which are also priced around Rs. 5,000.
