Runtastic Orbit smartband launched in India for Rs. 4,999

Australia-based Runtastic has launched its Orbit smartband in India. It is waterproof and provides round-the-clock monitoring of physical activity and sleep patterns. The Orbit smartband has an OLED display.

The Runtastic Orbit has all the feature you'd expect from a fitness band including Track your steps and distance daily, Monitor sleep duration and cycles each night, calories burned, Set goals and reach them. Users can dive wearing it as it is waterproof for up to 300 feet. It also vibrates to wake up users in the morning. The battery life is rated for seven days thanks to the low-power mode.

The Orbit has Bluetooth connectivity which lets you wirelessy sync your tracked data with your device. It is compatible with smartphones running Android, iOS and Windows Phone. 

The Runtastic Orbit has been priced at Rs, 4,999 and is available via Flipkart. It will compete against Xiaomi's Mi Band and Fitbit fitness trackers.
