Wickedleak launches Alpha smartwatch at Rs 6,990

Mumbai-based smartphone and tablet manufacturer Wickedleak has announced its entry into wearables segment with the launch of Alpha Smartwatch.

It comes with heart rate sensor, a pedometer and sleep monitoring to help you keep track of your health. It can also be used to access notifications for calls, messages, emails and more. The smartwatch connects with compatible devices (Android & iOS) via Bluetooth 4.0. When the smartwatch isn't connected to your device, it works as a standalone digital watch and allows you to read previous notification and set the alarm.

The Wickedleak Alpha smartwatch comes with 1.5-inch 3D curved touch display with scratch resistant properties and is built with CNC Processed Steel. It is equipped with a MediaTek MT2502 processor, that is specially designed for wearables, and is said to consume 30 percent less power. It is IP65 rated for dust and water resistance and is fueled by a 280mAh battery, which offers up to two days of battery life. There is also a speaker and microphone to take calls directly from your wrist. There is no word on which platform the smartwatch runs on.

The Wickedleak Alpha Smartwatch has been priced at Rs 6,990, and is available from the company’s website.
