Acer Liquid Zest Plus with Android Marshmallow, 5000mAh battery announced

Acer at its next@acer event in NewYork launched an upgraded model of Liquid Zest called Liquid Zest Plus, an Android Marshmallow smartphone with 5000mAh battery and quick charge support.

The Acer Liquid Zest Plus sports a 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor further aided by Mali T720 GPU and 2GB RAM. On-board storage is 16GB, which can be increased via microSD card. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.

The camera department includes 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, laser auto-focus PDAF and contrast detection, what Acer is calling hybrid tri-focus system. On the front there is a 85-degree wide-angle 5-megapixel shooter.The phone also has a DTS HD powered speaker.

The Acer Liquid Zest Plus is priced at $250 (Rs. 16,000) and will go on sale in the U.S and Asian markets soon. It comes in Pure White and Metallic Blue colors.
