Micromax Canvas Spark 2 Plus offers Android Marshmallow for Rs. 3,999

Micromax has launched an upgraded version of Canvas Spark 2, that was launched in September last year, with more storage, RAM, battery capacity and new OS. Dubbed Canvas Spark 2 Plus, it is the brand's first smartphone to run Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. It also comes with support for more than 10 regional language.

The Micromax Canvas Spark 2 Plus features 5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) display and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor with 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, which can be expanded via microSD card (up to 32GB).

Camera-wise, it gets 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 2-megapixel front facing camera. The dual-SIM phone supports 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It is fueled by 2000mAh battery.

For comparison, it's predecessor, the Canvas Spark 2 packed 768MB RAM, 4GB storage and 1800mAh battery.

The Micromax Canvas Spark 2 Plus is priced at Rs. 3,999, same as it's predecessor and will be exclusively available from Snapdeal starting April 21 via open sale. It comes in Metallic Grey, Copper Gold and Champagne Gold colors.
