Panasonic Eluga Tapp with fingerprint scanner, 4G VoLTE launched for Rs. 8,990



Panasonic has expanded its Eluga line-up by launching the Eluga Tapp smartphone in India. The 4G VoLTE enabled handset runs Android Marshmallow and has fingerprint sensor that's baked into the home button. It also supports Android for Work, which allows business users to securely access their work data in managed IT environment to protect personal data.

Coming to the specs, the Panasonic Eluga Tapp features 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display and is powered by 1.25GHz quad-core processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB inbuilt storage, with microSD card support for storage expansion.

It has an 8-megapixel rear facing camera with LED flash, and 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies and video calling. In terms of connectivity, the phone supports dual-SIMs (4G/3G + 2G), 4G LTE, VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It is backed by 2800mAh battery.

The Panasonic Eluga Tapp is priced at Rs. 8,990 and will be available from retail stores across the country. It comes in Champagne Gold and Silver Gray colors.
