OnePlus India to announce "something special" along with OP 3T on December 2

The OnePlus 3T will launch in India on December 2. Today the company also sent out invite for the launch event that will take place in Delhi. In addition OnePlus says that it has something special to announce at the event alongside the OnePlus 3T without giving much details.

OnePlus has also announced pop-up events for the OnePlus 3T in the country, that is scheduled for December 2 in Delhi, December 3 in Bangalore and December 10 in Mumbai. You can check out the venue and timings of the popup event on the OnePlus website here.

Coming back to the special announcement, few guesses are launch of a new accessory, news of an exchange policy for current OnePlus 3 owner or the company's plans to sell its phone through OnePlus India online store. We will get to know that, when the event unfolds coming Friday at 11am.

In related news, after the U.S and Canada, earlier today, the OnePlus 3T went on sale across Europe and in the United Kingdom. The 64GB OnePlus 3T is priced at $439 / €439 / £399, while the 128GB storage model costs $479 / €479 / £439.

To refresh, the OnePlus 3T is an upgraded version of OnePlus 3, and features Snapdragon 821 processor, a new 16MP front camera, bigger 3400mAh battery, a new 128GB storage option and Gunmetal grey color variant. (vs. SD820, 8MP front camera, 3000mAh battery). Other features include 5.5-inch Full HD display, 6GB RAM, 16MP main camera, NFC and USB Type-C. It ships with Android Marshmallow, but will receive Nougat treat in December.
