Dell outs Latitude 5285 2-in-1 tablet with Kaby Lake

Microsoft is expected to launch its next-gen Surface Pro 2-in1 tablet with Kaby Lake chips in Q1, 2017, but other companies are already out with their Surface Pro competitor. At CES 2017, Lenovo launched Miix 720, and Dell is out with one as well with Kaby Lake chip.

Dubbed Dell Latitude 5285, the 2-in-1 Windows tablet comes with a 12.3-inch Full HD display and is powered by 15W Kaby Lake-U processor, and comes with 4GB, 8GB or 16GB RAM and 256GB, 512GB or 1TB SSD for storage.

There's an 8MP rear camera, 5MP front camera and a front IR camera for Windows Hello support. The 2-in-1 tablet includes 2 x USB Type-C ports, a USB 3.0 port, a microSD card reader and a microSIM card slot for models with LTE support.

Similar to Microsoft's Surface Pro, the Latitude comes with a built-in kickstand and a detachable keyboard. It also comes with optional features like 4G LTE modem,  fingerprint scanner, smart card reader and NFC.

The Dell Latitude 5285 will be available in February starting at $899. The keyboard cover will sell separately.
