Nougat Kernel Source Code Released For Moto Z/Droid & Exynos S7

Kernel source codes are extremely important for developers as it helps them in adding more features to the software of the device through the medium of custom ROMs and custom kernels. When a device manufacturer decides to drop support for a device in terms of software updates, custom ROMs come to the rescue and become a savage for the people who want more control over their device. Custom ROMs also help in sustaining the device's software life by bringing newer Android versions to it.

Keeping Android's development community in mind, Samsung and Motorola have released the Nougat kernel source for the Exynos powered Galaxy S7 and Moto Z/Droid respectively. Moto Z, Moto Z Droid and the Samsung Galaxy S7 had recently been updated to Android's latest offering of Nougat.
