LG announces X power2 with 4500mAh battery

LG's new smartphone packs a large battery and a big screen coupled with medi-core specs. Meet the LG X power2.

The X Power2 features a massive 4500mAh battery, and LG says the phone "was designed to operate for an entire weekend without recharging". According to LG, the X power2 can play videos continuously for 15 hours, provide navigational directions for about 14 hours and web browsing for around 18 hours.

Packing a bigger battery means consuming more time to charge it, but thanks to fast charging the X power2 can provide 50 percent battery power with just one hour of charging, and to fully charge it will take about two hours.

As far as other specs are concerned, the X power2 will feature 5.5-inch HD display, 1.5GHz octa-core processor, 2GB/1.5GB RAM (depending on market), 16GB storage and a microSD card slot. It will sport 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera, both featuring LED flash. The phone runs Android Nougat and support 4G LTE.

LG says the X power 2 will be released in March in the Latin America, followed by other key markets including U.S, Asia and Europe. It will be available in Black Titan, Shiny Titan, Shiny Gold and Shiny Blue colors. Pricing is yet to be announced.
