Xiaomi Mi 6 goes through geekbench, scores higher than Galaxy S8
Xiaomi has already confirmed that the company will officially launch the Mi 6 on April 19 at an event in China. Now just a few days ahead of the unveiling, the Mi 6 has been spotted on Geekbench benchmarks, revealing few details.
According to Geekbench, Xiaomi's Mi 6 will feature Snapdragon 835 octa-core chip (w/ Adreno 540 GPU), 6GB RAM and run Android 7.1.1 Nougat. This is no surprise, as these specs have already leaked before.
However, the interesting part is the Geekbench result. The Mi 6 scored 2006 points on single-core test, and 6438 points on the multi-core tests, beating Samsung's recently launched flagship Galaxy S8's 1916 single-core/6011 multi-core results and Galaxy S8+'s 1929 single-core /6084 multi-core results. This indicates, that Mi 6 will be a powerful smartphone. However, we'll have to wait till Mi 6's official announcement, to know the final outcome.
According to earlier reports the Mi 6 will arrive in two variants: Mi 6 and Mi 6 Plus. The Mi 6 is expected to feature 5.1-inch Full HD display, 4GB/6GB RAM, 64GB/128GB, 12MP/8MP cameras, fingerprint scanner and 3200mAh battery. The Mi 6 Plus will feature 5.7-inch QHD curved display, 6GB RAM, 128GB/256GB storage, dual-cameras and 4500mAh battery.
