OnePlus 2 Finally Gets An Update In The Form Of OxygenOS 3.6.0

After denying a promised Nougat upgrade to the OnePlus 2, OnePlus is still continuing to update the device with bug fixes and new security patches. OxygenOS 3.6.0 bumps up the security patch to June 1 and fixes a range of network related issues. The complete changelog of the update follows.

New:
  • Updated Android security patch level to 1st June 2017
  • Updated timezone to GMT 3 in Turkey

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed VoLTE related issues in India
  • Fixed device not being able to automatically register on 4G networks

The update size will vary as per the OxygenOS version you are currently using on your OnePlus 2. If your device is currently running OxygenOS 3.5.9, then a 22MB update notification will pop up soon. Since the update is being rolled out via OTA, it may take some time to reach your device. If you don't wish to wait for the update, you can flash it manually via ADB.
