Asus intros ZenPad Z8s in the U.S

Asus has launched a new 8-inch tablet in the U.S called ZenPad Z8s, exclusively for carrier Verizon. It is the follow up model to last year's ZenPad 8, and gets an upgraded processor and more RAM for improved performance. The tablet runs Android Nougat, and sports an all metal design. It is also light-weight and slim measuring 6.9mm around the waist and weighs 306g.

The ZenPad 8s features 7.9-inch 2048 x 1536 pixels IPS display and is powered by an octa-core processor Snapdragon 652 Mobile platform with 3GB RAM and 16GB on-board storage, with microSD card support.

It comes with 13MP rear camera, and 5MP front camera. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2 and USB Type-C port. A 4680mAh battery delivers the juice to run, that promises to last up to 12 hours on normal usage.

The ZenPad 8s has been priced at $250, and is  now available for purchase in the U.S through Verizon stores.  You can also buy it at $ 149.99 with a contract period of 2 years.
