Coolpad goes offline in India with Note 5 Lite C


After Xiaomi and Motorola, Coolpad is the latest smartphone vendor to foray into the offline market to strengthen its presence in India. The China based device maker has launched Note 5 Lite C, a budget smartphone targeted at the offline market. It runs Android Nougat based Cool UI 8.0, and has a fingerprint scanner at the back.

In terms of specifications, the Note 5 Lite C features 5-inch HD display and is powered by 1.1GHz quad-core Snapdragon 210 processor backed by Adreno 304 GPU and 2GB RAM. It comes with 16GB on-board storage, which can be expanded via microSD card.

For photography, it gets 8MP rear camera with LED flash and 5MP front camera. Connectivity duties will be handled by dual-SIMs, 4G LTE, VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It will sip juice from a 2500mAh battery. Color options include Grey and Gold.

The Coolpad Note 5 Lite C has been priced at Rs. 7,777, and will hit the market starting August 5. It will be available across 3,000 multi-brand stores in eight states including Delhi-NCR, Haryana, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra.
