Dual-screen YOTA 3 coming in September starting at $360

Yota Devices showed off its third dual screen smartphone, YOTA 3, back in June at the China-Russia Expo in Harbin, and revealed very few details. And now the company has officially announced the YOTA3, and revealed its specs, pricing and availability details.

Like its predecessors, the main highlight of YOTA 3 is its secondary E-Ink display at the back. It's a 5.2-inch HD screen that consumes less energy and shows IM messages, news, time, weather, step count and stock prices, as well as doubles up as an e-book reader. There's also three capacitive keys as well.

As for the other specs, the YOTA 3 comes with 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display, and is equipped with an octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor, and comes with 4GB RAM, along with 64GB or 128GB storage options.

The camera on the back has a 13MP sensor and is assisted by dual-tone LED flash, while the front shooter has a 12MP sensor. Other features include fingerprint scanner, dual-SIM slots, 4G LTE, USB Type-C port and 3300mAh battery. It runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat based YotaOS 3.0.

The YOTA 3 64GB version has been priced at RUB 21,500/CNY 2,398/$360 (Rs. 23,000) and the 128GB version costs RUB27,900/CNY3098/$465 (Rs. 30,000). It will be up for pre-order in China starting September 5 at JD.com, and go on sale from September 18.
