Moto X4 final design revealed

Last month Evan Blass shared details of Motorola's upcoming Moto X4 smartphone including a press shot, which was different from the leaked presentation slide, that leaked back in May. The image showed a device in Gold color with 3D glass and metal design, along with dual-cameras at the back.

However, Evan Blass has now tweeted saying, that he has seen the final design of the Moto X4, and admits that the leaked render was "bad information" or an "early render", and the Moto X4 seen in the presentation is the final design.

The main design difference between both image is the dual-camera module and LED flash placement. In the press shot, the flash module is placed below the dual-cameras, while in the presentation slide the LED flash is positioned above the dual camera. Otherwise, the rest of the design is same.

The Moto X4 is expected to boast metal and 3D glass body with glass finish, IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, AI integration, Always on Voice and Turbo Charging.

As for the specs, it is expected to feature 5.2-inch Full HD display Snapdragon 630/660 Mobile Platform, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, 12MP+8MP dual-cameras, 16MP selfie camera, fingerprint scanner (with gesture support for on-screen navigation) and 3000mAh battery. It will ship with Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

As mentioned earlier the Moto X4 was first spotted on a presentation slide, alongside Moto C, Moto G5S, Moto Z2 and Moto E4 series. All these phones have been announced, and the only device left is the Moto X4. An official announcement can be expected in the coming days.
