Oppo is adding a new member to its 'A's series family in the form of Oppo A71, a budget smartphone, which appears to be a toned down version of A77. The phone has been listed on Oppo's official Bangladesh, Malaysia, Thailand and Pakistan website. It is also expected to launch in India soon.

The metal-clad Oppo A71 features 5.2-inch HD IPS display and is powered by 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor, with 3GB RAM and 16GB storage, that's expandable via microSD card. It gets 13MP f/2.2 rear camera with LED flash and PDAF, and 5MP f/2.4 front shooter.

It runs Android 7.1 Nougat based ColorOS 3.1 and supports 4G LTE and dual-SIM. A 3000mAh battery runs the show. There's no fingerprint scanner.

The Oppo A31 is priced at BDT 16,900 in Bangladesh and RM858 in Malaysia, which translated to around Rs. 13,000. It will be available in Gold and Black colors.
