Airtel Diwali Offer: 100 percent cash back on unlimited pack recharges, but.....

Last week Reliance Jio announced Diwali offer, under which it offered 100 percent cashback on recharge of Rs. 399 (offer ended). Now Airtel is following suit, and is offering 100 percent cashback on unlimited prepaid recharge pack of Rs. 348/Rs. 349, Rs.399 and Rs. 548/Rs. 599, but there's a catch.

The 100 percent cashback will not be provided with a single recharge, instead you'll have to recharge eight/nine/ twelve times consecutively depending on the plan. And also the customer have to recharge using the Airtel Payments Bank to get the cashback.

The offer is somewhat similar to Reliance Jio Diwali offer, but instead of recharge vouchers, Airtel is offering Rs. 75 cashback on the first recharge  and from the second recharge it will be just Rs. 40 for the next seven recharge, so the cashback would amount to Rs. 345. This offer is for the Rs. 348/349 plan, and the cashback can be used for any purpose.

Similarly for the Rs. 399 pack, you'll have to recharge the amount for nine times consecutively, to get Rs. 75 cashback on the first recharge, Rs.40 in every subsequent recharge and Rs. 45 in the ninth recharge (Rs. 400 cashback).

Lastly, for the Rs. 549 pack, you have to recharge 12 time consecutively, to get Rs. 75 cash back on first recharge and Rs. 45 on the next 11 recharges (Rs. 570 cashback).

It's worth mentioning that, the recharges need to be done within a period of 12 months. The cashback will be credited to Airtel Payments Bank wallet or savings account within three working days of the transaction.

Airtel's 100 percent cashback offer is now live and will end on October 26.
