Android Oreo beta update out for LG V30/V30+

Earlier this month LG kicked off registrations for LG OS Preview Program in South Korea for beta testing Android Oreo for LG V30.  And now LG has started rolling out beta build of Oreo for V30, as well as to its souped up version (more storage) V30+.

The update size is 1.2GB and brings Oreo's native goodies such as Picture-in-Picture (PiP), notification channels, adaptive icons, notification dots, smart text selection, Autofill API and more. It also includes the latest November Android Security patch and a handful of fixes as well as improvements. As mentioned earlier the Oreo beta build is currently available for LG V30 users in South Korea.

LG has already confirmed that official Android Oreo update for LG V30/V30+ Korean users is planned for December. It is not known if Oreo beta build will be out for the Global variant of V30 or V30+, or if they will be directly updated to official Android Oreo.

Next in line to receive Android Oreo is likely to be Snapdragon 821 powered LG G6. Beta testing shall begin soon, once Oreo is out for V30.
