Gionee S11, S11S, S11 Lite goes official with FullView displays

As expected, Gionee at an event in home market China on Sunday, November 26, unveiled its winter 2017 line up. These include Gionee S11, S11s, S11 Lite, M7 Plus, M7 Lite and F205, as well as the recently released M7 and M7 Power, and all of them boast a near bezel-less design. In this post, details about the Gionee S11, S11s and S11 Lite will be revealed.

As you can see from the render, all the three new S series phone sports a bezel-less design and a large FullView display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The phones run Android 7.1.1 Nougat based Amigo OS 5.0 out of the box, supports microSD card, dual-SIMs, 3.5mm audio jack and 4G VoLTE and gets rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Speaking of the specifications, the Gionee S11S is the most powerful of the lot. It features 6.01-inch Full HD+ AMOLED FullView display with 2.5D curved glass and  minimal bezels on side. It is powered by 2.3GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P30 processor further aided by Mali G71 GPU and 6GB RAM, while the inbuilt storage is 64GB. It ships with front & rear dual-cameras. 

The rear camera unit house 16MP and a 8MP sensor assisted by an LED flash, whereas the front camera unit houses 20MP and 8MP dual sensor. A 3600mAh battery runs the show.

Next is the Gionee S11, and it is equipped 5.99-inch Full HD+ IPS display, octa-core MediaTek Helio P23 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage and 3410mAh battery. For photography, it gets 16MP+8MP dual rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, and 16MP+5MP front facing camera.

Lastly, the Gionee S11 Lite, as the name suggests is a souped down and affordable version of the S11, and will release in international market as Gionee F6. It comes with 5.7-inch Full HD+ display, octa-core Snapdragon 430 processor, 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. It gets 13MP+2MP dual rear cameras and 16MP front facing camera, while a 3030mAh battery keeps the lights on.

Coming to the pricing, the Gionee S11S has been priced at CNY 3299 ($500 | Rs. 32,000) and will be available from December 2017 in Gold and Platinum colors. The Gionee S11 will be available from December 2017 at CNY 1799 ($272 | Rs. 17,500) in Blue, Gold and Rose colors. The Gionee S11 Lite/F6 comes in Gold, Dark Blue and Black colors, and will hit the market in January 2018 for CNY 1299 ($197 | Rs. 13,000).
