OnePlus intros OnePlus 5T Star Wars Limited Edition

Star Wars fans are in for a special treat. OnePlus at the ongoing Bengaluru Comic Con festival has announced OnePlus 5T Star Wars Limited edition.  The special edition has been announced just ahead of the December 15 release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi. 

The OnePlus 5T Star Wars Limited Edition flaunts white back panel with Star Wars branding embossed in Red. The alert slider gets a Red paint job. We can also expect the device to come pre-loaded with Star Wars exclusive contents such as Wallpaper, icons and more.

Unfortunately OnePlus has not revealed the availability details for the OnePlus 5T Star Wars Limited Edition. However, according to sources the special edition OnePlus 5T will be India-exclusive and launch on December 16 with only 15,000 units up for grabs.

The regular Midnight Black OnePlus 5T has been priced at Rs. 32,999 for the 6GB/64GB model and Rs. 37,999 for the 8GB/128GB model. Recently OnePlus launched China exclusive Red Lava OnePlus 5T with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, so we can expect the top-end 8GB/128GB model for the Star Wars edition.

To recap, the OnePlus 5T flaunts a bezel-less design, and is a minor upgrade over OnePlus 5. It gets a bigger display, rear mounted fingerprint scanner and improved dual rear cameras.

The OnePlus 5T features 6.01-inch Full HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio, Snapdragon 835 chip, 16MP+20MP rear camera, 20MP selfie camera and 3300mAh battery. It runs Android Nougat based Oxygen OS and the software will be updated to Oreo early 2018. Other notable features are Dash Charge fast charging technology, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, USB Type-C port and dual-SIM slots.
