Oreo 8.0 Rolling Out To Nokia 3

HMD Global started testing Oreo for the Nokia 3 last month. The beta trial is now over and the stable Android 8.0 update is rolling out to all the Nokia 3 users, including the beta testers.

HMD's Chief Product Officer Juho Sarvikas took to Twitter to announce about the commencement of the update roll out. Android Oreo includes a plethora of new features such as picture-in-picture mode, colored notifications, smart text selection, notification channels, notification dots, and a refreshed user interface.

Like all the other updates, this one too is being rolled out via OTA in batches. A small batch of users, which will be randomly selected by a computer, will get the update today. The batch size will be increased each following day until the update has been extended to everyone. The update therefore might take time to show up on your phone. We advise you to wait patiently for the update. You can check for the update manually by going to Settings > About phone > System updates.
