Android P To Be Released On August 20, According To Evan Blass

Famous for his leaks in the tech world, Evan Blass, just an hour ago, has pointed out August 20 as the 'P day'. Blass shared an image on Twitter with the Android P logo marked against August 20. Given the history of Blass' leaks and their accuracy, we may as well consider this leak to be true.

Even last year, Blass leaked that the final build of Android Oreo will be released on August 21 and that was the day it happened. Now, for P (please tell us the name already, Google!) the date comes out to be Aug 20. It seems to be fair enough date as the final build is expected in Quarter 3 of the year.

Google announced Android O as Oreo alongside the release of its stable builds on August 21. Likewise, we expect Google to announce the name of Android P on August 20. Last year, Google asked users to vote on the name of Android, but Google hasn't done anything such this year. Google might throw some hints at the name with teasers, but like every year, Google likes to keep it in the closet until the official announcement. For now, let's hope the final build to be bugless and fluid in experience.
