China's UMI Mobiles Set To Enter Indian Market Via Flipkart

After Oppo, Xiaomi, Vivo and OnePlus, another Chinese smartphone vendor wants to enter the Indian market. According to GizChina, UMI mobiles intends to launch it Umi Zero smartphone in India. 

Just like Xiaomi and Motorola, UMI Mobiles will enter the Indian market via Flipkart. There is no information of when UMI will launch it devices in Indian market, and there is no details of princing too.

The UMI Zero comes with high end specs and we expect it to be priced below Rs. 20,000 in the Indian market. If Flipkart hits the right promotional strategy it will give tough competition to Xiaomi. UMI Zero costs $299 (Rs. 18000) in China.

Coming to the specs of the UMI Zero, the handset features a 5-inch Full HD display with 1920x1080 pixels. It is powered by a 2GHz Octa-core MTK6592T processor, paired with 2GB RAM and Mali 400GPU. It come in 16GB and 64GB internal storage options which can be expandable via microSD card. It runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

Camera department is handled by 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 8-megapixel front facing camera. Connectivity options include 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, NFC, Wi-Fi Direct WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG and Micro-USB. It is backed by a 2,400mAh battery.
