Archos 50 Helium Plus, 55 Helium Plus with 4G LTE support announced

French mobile devices major, Archos announced two new 4G LTE handsets called 50 Helium Plus and 55 Helium Plus.

Archos 50 Helium Plus features 5-inch HD (1280x720 pixels) IPS display and is powered by 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735P 64-bit processor paired with Mali Y720 GPU and 1GB RAM. The phone comes with 8GB internal storage and microSD card slot for storage expansion. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.

Camera features include 13-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with flash and 5-megapixel front facing camera. Connectivity options include Dual-SIM support, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, WiFi, GPS/AGPS and Micro USB 2.0 OTG. It is fuelled by a 2000mAH battery and comes in Jet Black and White Frost colors.

The Archos 55 Helium Plus sports 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display and is backed by a 2400mAH battery. Rest of the specs are similar as 50 Helium Plus. It also comes bundled with 16GB microSD card.

The Archos 50 Helium Plus and 55 Helium Plus are priced at £119 ($185) and £139 ($216) respectively and will be available for purchase in the U.K in July.
