Asus Zenvolution event set for May 30, likely to announce ZenFone 3


Asus has announced that its 'Zenvolution' event will take take on May 30, ahead of Computex 2016, which kick starts on May 31 and last stills June 4. During the event the Taiwanese company is expected to unveil the ZenFone 3 series of smartphone.

The ZenFone 3 (and its various confusing variants) are expected to have an aluminum build and sport 2.5D glass on both front and back. It come with fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C port, front facing flash and an optional 'Smart Flip Cover', and run Android Marshmallow.

In addition the ZenFone 3 family, Asus is also expected to launch tablets, laptops, 2-in-1s and new range of ZenWatch wearables. It is also being said that Asus will show off its ZenVR headset. The invite includes an Intel logo, so we can expect some of these devices to be equipped with Intel chipset. 

The event will be live-streamed from the Humble House in Taipei and will begin at 2pm CST (11:30am IST).
