Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun shares photos of Mi Max phablet

Ahead of the May 10 event in China, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun shared three photos of the Mi Max phablet on his Weibo page. The photos are in line with images leaked earlier and the images outed by TENAA.

If TENAA listing is to be believed (which are reliable), the Xiaomi Mi Max will come with huge 6.4-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 650 SoC w/ Adreno 510, 16MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, microSD card slot, 4G LTE, fingerprint scanner (at the back), 4000mAh battery and run MIUI 8 based on Android Marshmallow. It will come with two variants, one with 2GB RAM + 16GB storage, and the other with 3GB RAM + 32GB storage. Notably, spec-wise, the Mi Max appears to be a bigger Redmi Note 3.

As for the pricing the Xiaomi Mi Max base model (2GB RAM w/ 16GB storage) is rumored to cost CNY 1299 ($200 | Rs. 13,000). Along with Mi Max, Xiaomi will also announce MIUI 8, Mi Band 2 (possible), and few other products. (Via)

Xiaomi is also teasing the Mi Max on its YouTube channel. You can check out the shared photos and videos below.
