Microsoft Band 2 gets ability to track Heart Rate Zones

The Microsoft Band 2 has received a new firmware update bumping the version to 2.0.4737.0, and adding the ability to track heart rate zones.

Microsoft says the new Heart Rate Zones improves your workout health with notification for heart rate zones. When you're heart rate is at 80 percent maximum, the heart rate indicator turns orange, and when it's at 90 percent the color changes to red. The feature is useful for those looking to maximize their workouts.

Microsoft has also update the Band 2 Health companion app as well, bumping the app version to 2.3.2.0602. The update fixes repeat SMS bug, and adds Cortana support for Android devices.
