Remix OS Player is a free Android game emulator for Windows PC


Jide, the makers of Remix OS, an Android based operating system for PC, has announced an Android game emulator for Windows called Remix OS Player. The Android Marshmallow based emulator, uses Android Studio to act as a virtual machine within the PC and let users to run Android apps or games on Windows PC.

To run Remix OS Player, the PC must run Windows 7 (64-bit) or higher versions and the system requirements are Core i3 processor (Core i5, i7 recommended), 4GB RAM and minimum of 8GB available storage (16GB recommended).

Recommended system requirements
  • Windows 7 (64-bit) or newer
  • Core i3 (Recommend Core i5 or Core i7)
  • 4GB RAM
  • 8GB Storage (Recommend 16GB)
  • Internet access is helpful
  • Enabled Virtualization Technology in BIOS
The emulator can run on desktop as a window pane and features options to resize window and taskbar interface. It includes a key mapping tool that allows touch enabled Android games to be played more effectively using keyboard and mouse. It's also worth mentioning that Remix Player includes full access to Google Play Store.
